Hi! Danke, dass du dir
Zeit nimmst für dieses Interview. Würde es dir was
ausmachen die Band den Lesern vorzustellen, die euch nicht kennen?
Hallo, hier ist Pasi von der finnischen
Powermetalband Dreamtale. Die Band
existiert seit 1999, wir haben bislang drei Alben gemacht und
hoffentlich habt ihr sie alle gekauft!
Wie entstand der
Bandname? Hat er eine bestimmte Bedeutung, z.B. für die Musik?
Die Band ist und war seit langem Rami´s Traum.
Ich glaube, das war es.
Wie geht bei euch ein Songwriting-Prozess vonstatten? In wieweit hat Timo Tolkkis Hilfe euch und eure Musik beeinflusst?
Jeder macht ein bisschen und dann
versuchen wir alles zusammenzufügen. Erst machen wir ein paar Demoversionen und dann gehen wir ins Studio. Timos Hilfe war relativ gering, aber er
ist ein großartiger Typ und ein Musik-Genie.
Gibt es
irgendwelche Bands oder Idole, die dich beeinflusst haben?
Also, meine Einflüsse
sind Metallica und einige 70er Heavy-Ikonen.
Beeinflussen
persönliche Sachen die Texte?
Ja, eine Menge, fast
jeder Song, den ich schreibe, handelt von meinen Leben.
Warum hat Esa
Orjatsalo die Band verlassen, nachdem das Album fertig war?
Er
hatte sich auf sein Studium zu konzentrieren.
Was
kann man von Dreamtale live erwarten?
Explosive Energie und eine gewaltige Show. ;-)
Wird es eine
Promotiontour geben?
Unglücklicherweise nicht. Unser Sänger
Jarkko tourt mit seinem Projekt hier in Finnland.
Werdet
ihr auf (Sommer-)Festivals spielen?
Wir sind bei einigen gebookt (in
Finnland).
Welche Pläne habt ihr für die
Zukunft?
Vielleicht ein neues Album im nächsten Jahr und dann
eine Tour durch Europa.
Was hältst du von
Internetmagazinen wie Soulburner.de?
Großartiger,
papiersparender Journalismus.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time for this interview. Would you mind introducing the band to
the readers who don´t know you?
Hello!
This is Pasi, from a
Finnish power-metal band called Dreamtale. The band has existed since
1999 and we’ve made three albums and hopefully you all have bought
all of them!
How accrued the bandname? Does it have a
special meaning, e.g. for your music?
The
band is and has been Rami’s dream for a long time, so I suppose
that’s it.
How
do you approach the
songwriting-process? How far did Timo Tolkkis help influence you and
your music?
Everybody does bits and pieces
and then try to fit them together. First we do several demo versions
and then we will head up to studio. Timo’s help was quite minor but
still he’s a great guy and a musical genius.
Are
there any
favorite bands or idols that influenced you?
Well my influences
come from Metallica and some 70’s heavy icons.
Is there any
personally related stuff influencing the lyrics?
Yes
a lot, almost every lyrics I do, has something from my own life.
Why
did Esa Orjatsalo leave the band after the album was done?
He
had to concentrate on his studies.
What
can one expect
of Dreamtale on stage?
Explosive energy and
a massive show. ;-)
Will there be a
promotion tour?
No,
unfortunately not. Our singer Jarkko is touring with his project band
here in Finland.
Do you strive to play on
(summer-)festivals?
We have couple of them
booked. (still in Finland)
What are your
plans for the future?
Maybe a new album
next year and then a tour in Europe.
What is your attitude
towards internet magazines like Soulburner.de?
Great
paper saving journalism.
